MARGARET ANNIE MORRIS is my gr-grandmother. Her father was Henry Joseph Morris. Her mother was Cornelia Ann Scoggin. She married William Thomas Morris (Morris was also her maiden name). They lived most of their lives in Van Zandt County Texas. William Thomas & Margaret Annie were my father's mother's parents.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Morris, 75, of route 2 Canton, who died Saturday morning after an illness of one week, were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the China Grove Baptist Church. The services were conducted by the Rev. D.H. Pitts, with burial in the Morris Cemetery. Mrs. Morris was born in Rusk County and had lived in Canton for about 58 years. Surviving are her husband, W.T. Morris of route 2, Canton; five daughters, Mrs. M.L. Corley of Waco, Mrs. Walter Ward of Canton, Mrs. Charles Yancey of Eustace, Mrs. Joe Kirkland of Athens, and Mrs. Rupert Robertson of Martins Mill; one brother, B.F. Morris of Shawnee, Oklahoma; twenty-five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
