Edith L. Standish, 65, of Petoskey, died March 27, 1990, at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals.
Funeral was Thursday, March 29, at the Stone Funeral Home, Petoskey. The Rev. David Behling officiated and burial was in Cross Village Township Cemetery, Cross Village.
The former Edith L. Wagley was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Cross Village, the daughter of Glenn and Mary (Keller) Wagley. She attended school in Cross Village and Harbor Springs.
She married Robert Devers on March 2, 1946, and he died in April, 1978.
Mrs. Standish was employed at Northern Michigan Hospitals as a housekeeper for the past 14 years.
She is survived by five daughters, Peggy Devers of Oden, Mrs. Dale (Anne) Wilson of Pellston, Mrs. Gordon (Rita) Standish of Petoskey, Mrs. Richard (Susan) Reeder of Presque Isle, Maine, Cynthia Procopio of Oden; one son, Alan Devers of Harbor Springs; eight grandchildren; one brother, Woodrow Wagley of Petoskey; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Anne L.) Thelen of Petoskey; many nieces and nephews.
