NEW BOSTON, NH -- Wayne F. Flint, 83, died at his home on Monday, April 10, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Gerriann (Wheeler) Flint, with whom he shared many years of marriage until her passing in 2002.

Born in Dracut on February 27, 1934, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Adelaide (Williamson) Flint. Upon graduating from Dracut High School, Wayne went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict until he was honorably discharged. Prior to his retirement, he spent his career working as a Lithographer for various local printing companies.

Wayne was a longtime member of the Wamesit Lodge of the Masons. He also enjoyed singing in the choir at Christ Church United in Dracut.

He is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Erik Flint and his wife Diane of New Boston, NH, Mark Flint of Columbus, OH; two step-children, Robert Brown and his wife Karen of Kingston, NH, and Linda Murphy and her husband Tim of Peaks Island, ME; three grandchildren, Kevin and Joshua Sordiff, and Krystal Flint; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Xander Flint; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Kirk Flint, his grandson, Mark Racette, and two brothers, Brendan and Lawrence Flint.

FLINT -- Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on FRIDAY, April 14th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. His funeral service will take place inside the funeral home on SATURDAY, April 15th at 9:30 a.m. with burial directly following in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut.
