Roswell Daily Record, May 1987: Ruth H. Bellick. No services are scheduled for Ruth H. Bellick, 75, of 1503 S. Pecos Ave., who died Saturday at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. The body will be taken to Twin Oaks Crematory for cremation. Arrangements are being handled by Ballard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Roswell Humane Society. Mrs. Bellick was born on Oct. 21, 1911, in Watertown, Mass., to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert W. Pingree, both now deceased. She was married in 1950 in New Hampshire to Robert L. Bellick, who died in 1979. A Roswell resident since 1973, Mrs. Bellick was formerly of Baltimore, Md. She was retired. Mrs. Bellick raised and showed pomeranians. She was a charter member of the New England Pomeranian Club and past editor of the "Pomeranian Review." Survivors include one son of Burnet, Texas; two daughters, of Roswell and Marshfield, Mass.; one grandson, of Corpus Christi, Texas; three granddaughters, of Burnet, Roswell and Marshfield; two great granddaughters, both of Corpus Christi; one brother, Herbert W. Pingree of Massachusetts; and two sisters, Phyllis M. Dauten of Connecticut and Thelma L. Doherty of Massachusetts.
