Mamie Elnore Clifton, 80, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was a homemaker, born June 14, 1936, in Dixie, Arkansas, to Martin and Maude Maynard.
Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Clifton; one son, Dewayne Clifton; one daughter, Nora Weaver; three brothers, Elbert, Troy, and Delbert Maynard; and by one sister, Lois Mae Garner.
Survivors include two sons, Billy (Alicia) Clifton of Marmaduke, Shawn Clifton of Cherokee Village; one daughter, Angela Clifton of Paragould; one grandson, Jeff Cline of Paragould; and eight great grandchildren, Kacie Dawn Pitcher, Deshaya Danielle Cline, Dustin Dale Cline, Nora Elizabeth Cline and Azlynn Lanore Cline, all of Paragould, Tylor Matthew Clifton and Josh Nathan Clifton, both of Bono, and Destiny Rose Mullins of Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 14th, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Pitcher officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Curtis Manis, Jimmy Schrader, Devin Davis, Tony Davis, Terry Gonser, and Tylor Clifton will serve as pallbearers.
