Nancy was a registered nurse for 42 years, starting at Riverside Hospital and transitioning to St. Anne's. She loved taking care of people. That was also seen through her ministry as a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member for 44 years. Nancy loved her church family and singing in the choir. She also helped with the Thrift Shop associated with Trinity.
Nancy loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids. Every free moment she had was spent with family and friends. Everyone who knew Nancy would agree she had a huge heart and a kind and loving soul. She would help anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband, Milton, her children, Karen (Phil) Novotny, John (Aileen) Aysh, Robert (Christi) Aysh and Colleen (CJ) Montry. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Brandan, Jordan, Brya, Jayce, Kaitlyn, Kirsten and Makenzie. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Milton I. and Helen Aysh.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Genoa, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
