Laura B. Blair, 85, of 1813 E. 32nd St. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Blair, who retired from Younkers Store for Homes, was born in Brooklyn and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Eastgate Order of the Eastern Star.

Among survivors are a daughter, Lauralyn Green of Valley Center, Calif.; four sisters, Virginia Hartsook of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dortha DeVotie of San Diego, Calif., and Kathryn Smith and Esther Sheperd, both of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
