Doug Parker, 30 of Columbia, died Aug. 21, 2002 in Columbia. He was born Feb. 26, 1972, in Cape Girardeau to Ronald and Joyce Poston Parker.
He was a 1990 graduate of Jackson High School and moved to Columbia six years ago from Whitewater.
He was a salesman with Busenbark Carpet and Trailers in Columbia.
He was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Crump and the Boone County Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his parents of Whitewater, MO; three sons, Brandon and Brent Parker of Chaffee, MO and Brady Parker of Columbia, MO; a brother, David Parker of Delta, MO; his paternal grandparents, Retta and Gerald Lyne of Delta, MO; his maternal grandparents, T.H. and Betty Williamson of Golconda, IL; and a step-grandmother, Wanda Armstrong of Chino, CA.
Services are Aug. 25, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Burial in Bark Chapel Cemetery near Crump.
