Flora Evelyn Hatton, 89 passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015. She lived most of her life in Fairfield, Alabama. She treasured those memories of schooldays, her marriage at First Baptist Church of Fairfield, starting a family, serving in PTA and teaching Sunday school at Forest Hills Baptist Church where she was a charter member. In the late eighties she and Leheman moved to Hoover. There she found a church home at First Baptist Church of Hoover. Her Christian faith was strong. She wanted to see the good in people as she felt God does. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leheman Hatton and sister Lillian Dollar Kennedy.

She is survived by her three children Roger Hatton, Gwen Hatton, Barry Hatton and his wife Michele; sister Mary Batton; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and relatives and her special beloved friend, John W. Hargett.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Hoover with funeral services following at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. Randy Atkinson officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, make donations to First Baptist Church of Hoover.
