WHEELING Ralph D. Wheeling, 89, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie A. Wheeling; daughter, Almeta L. Wheeling; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug M. and Carolyn Wheeling, Kenneth C. and Vicki Wheeling; grandchildren, Carol and Hassell "Jr." Woosley, Joyce Combs-Marshall, Nellie and Kenny Fischer, Douglas Cory and Aimee Wheeling, Marisa Wheeling, Amy R. and Justin Mitchell. Mr. Wheeling was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, retired from Crenshaw Truck Equipment, served with the Bensley Volunteer Fire Department and a member-at-large of the VFW. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
