William J. Altimus Peck, 75 of Sioux City, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at a local care facility. Memorial service will be held 7:00pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm Monday, April 10, 2017at the funeral home.

William Joseph Peck was born August 31, 1941 in Sioux City, IA the son of Robert and Marquierte (Angerman) Altimus. In 1958 he graduated from Storm Lake High School. William moved to Sioux City, Iowa in 1969, where he worked as a mechanic. In 1998 he moved to Rosalie, NE. and worked at Morrison Quirk, near Lyon's NE., until 2014.

He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, spending time with his grandchildren. William's kind heart made it easy for him to get along with everyone.

William is survived by his one daughter Heather (Mick Gamet) Altimus of Sioux City, three brothers; Robert Altimus of San Francisco, CA., Elroy Altimus of Sioux City, Davey McFadden of Sioux City, four sisters; Roberta O'Brian of Escadedo, CA., Marjorie Schumacher of Rosalie, NE., Rita Lowe of Sioux City, Sherry Krage of Sioux City, and two grandchildren Elijiah Altimus, Noah Gamet.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Dawn McFadden, and Sharon McFadden.
