70 year old Bobbie Jean Houk of smithville passed away Wednesday at her residence.She was a Pentecostal and a retired factory worker. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Dekalb Funeral Chapel. Tony Lawson will officiate with burial to follow in Bethel Church.Cemetery.
She was the proceded in death by her father; Clarence Lee Neal,two sons, Jimmy and James Griffith,a daughter Marie McBride, and a grandson, Stephen Patrick.
Surviving are her children: Charles and wife Phyllis Griffith, Maurice Griffith of Smithville, Deborah Page of Smithville,Teresa Griffith of Nashville, Meliss Culwell of Nashville, Her mother, Nancy Lillian Hale Neal of Smithville. Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.Two brothers Doug (Kathy) Neal, L. W. Neal all of Smithville, four sisters, Loretta (Junior) Bain, Linda Faye Knowles of Smithville, Patricia (Chester) Sanders of Smithville, and Elaine McGuire of Spencer.
Dekalb Funeral Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
