Etheleen Jones Key made her trip on to heaven on April 3, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Jesse Carter Jones and Claire Louise Taylor Jones. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, best friend, and ballroom dance partner, Winston O. Key.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Guy Merritt.

Etheleen was born in Ellijay, Georgia, on June 13, 1919. Etheleen and Winston spent all their married life in Maryville, TN.

Her daily hobby was always crossword puzzles, often saying she could completely lose herself in a puzzle. Her passion was ballroom dancing, and she and Winston spent many happy evenings with the Everett Senior Citizens Dance Club. Most of the years after her husband's death, Etheleen made her home at Brookdale Sandy Springs. She developed many close friendships there and loved (and was loved by) the staff. She and Jane are grateful beyond words for these wonderful people who have become family to us.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. Family and Friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Grandview Cemetery.
