Bertha E. Snyder, 86, 196 Middletown Gardens, died Saturday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Wells County and lived in the Bluffton-Fort Wayne area many years before coming to Muncie 15 years ago.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ruth Boden and Mrs. Willard (Margaret) Tuttle, both of Muncie; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 3 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Jack Park, pastor of Halteman Village Baptist Church, and Rev. Joseph Douthett, pastor of University Christian Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and any time before the services Tuesday.
