Garnett Marie Armstrong, 86, of Findlay passed at 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center of Findlay. Garnett was born on July 30, 1930 to the late Nelson and Beulah (Daring) Sampson. She married Ed Armstrong and he is deceased. Garnett is survived by her children: Kenneth (Deb) Sampson of Findlay, Beth (Jim) Kiper of Oxford, Ohio, Terry Armstrong of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Roger Armstrong of North Baltimore, Ohio, Cathy (Brad) Muntz of Arlington, Ohio, Ralph Armstrong of Findlay, Ron Armstrong of Findlay, Debbie Armstrong and Julie "Mae" Young of Findlay, as well as numerous grandchidren and great-grandchildren. Garnett also had two sisters, Mary Lorton and Ruth Fitch. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and William. The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Fox Run Manor and all who cared for Garnett in her last days. A child of God, she was out-spoken regarding her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation for family and friends will be at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840 on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. The funeral for Garnett will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Wharton Richland Union Cemetery in Wharton, Ohio.
