Linda I. Decker, 63, of Corydon, died Friday, December 11, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born November 15, 1952, in Wayne County, Kentucky, to the late Reuben and Lillie Jane New Decker. She was formerly employed at Dupont in Richmond, Virginia and was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Lyle Decker; her sister, Joyce Ann Decker and her brother-in-law, George “Ford” Vaughn.
Survivors include her daughters, Tessie Gover and Erika Wimer both of Richmond, Virginia; her sisters, Ruby Vaughn of Corydon, Ella Mae Bertram (Bobby) of Monticello, Kentucky, Alma Sue Kidd (Danny) of Somerset, Kentucky and Pamela Jo Terrell (James) of Elizabeth, Indiana; her sister-in-law, Joyce Decker of Monticello; and her grandchildren, Alex, Brittney and Shane.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor James Allen and Pastor Kevin Crase will officiate. Burial will be in the Barrier Cemetery in Barrier, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
