Former Dixon resident Anne E. Ellenberger died Dec. 28 in Laramie at the age of 94.
She was born Feb. 9, 1891 in Sidney, Iowa to Miles and Mary (Reed) Groshart, and moved to the Savery area as a child. She married Jacob John Ellenberger in 1915 in Steamboat, and lived in Dixon.
In 1983, she moved to Laramie from Denver to be near her son. She is survived by two sons, John J. Ellenberger of Sacramento, Calif., and Louis M. Ellenberger, of Laramie. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandsons.
