Eliza was the youngest child of Mary Jane Gregg and William Henry Hill with whom she is buried on the family homestead near Soda, Texas. She married Wiley Bracewell. They died the same year and left a young son Henry Edward Bracewell who is buried in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Polk County, Texas with his wife. A homemade marker at Eliza's grave says E.H.B.
