He was born in Brooklyn April 18, 1917, son of Valentine and Sophie Klicki Rucki. He was a truck driver in Brooklyn for several years and was employed at Griffiss AFB while it was being constructed.
He and Belvina Belewich were married in West Leyden Oct. 5, 1940. They operated a farm in East Ava from 1946 to 1971, when they moved to the present home.
He was a member of St.Mary's Church, West Leyden.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Sandra) Jeroszko, Hebron, Conn., and Mrs.Thomas (Virginia) Rossiter, Indian Harbor Beach, Fla.; a son, Albin M. Rucki Jr., Rome ; a sister Jeanne Goodwin, Brooklyn , and eight grandchildren .
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Trainor Funeral Home, Boonville, and at 11 a.m. St. Mary's Church, West Leyden. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Rome.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
