Mrs. E. J. Moore passed away at noon today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. A. Wood, 908 West Ninth street, after an illness of five weeks, death resulting from paralysis. The deceased was 86 years, five months and eleven days old at the time of her demise. For the past thirteen years she has resided in this city. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Wood, three sons, A. R. Scott, of Gering, Neb., J. A. Scott, of Stockton, Cal., and S. T. Scott, of this city, as also one sister, Mrs. Meneses, of Grand Junction, Colo., and one brother, James Andrews, of Humbolt, Neb.

Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of S. A. Wood, 908 West Ninth street, the Revs. Beebe and Rose, officiating. Interment will be made in the Alda cemetery.

Obituary
Mrs. E. J. Moore was born in the state of Ohio, July 27, 1832. From there she, when a little girl, moved to the state of Indiana. She was married to W. R. Scott in 185.? To this union there were born nine children; four of whom still survive her, also twenty-one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She moved from Indiana in 1867 to Iowa, where she resided for twelve years, when she moved to Alda, Neb., in 1880. In 1886 she was married to Evans Moore, with whom she lived for twenty years. She moved to California in 1902 with her husband, who died in 1904. Afterwards she returned to Nebraska.

The remains of Mrs. Jane Moore, who passed away at her daughter's home in Grand Island, were brought to Alda cemetery for burial Monday afternoon.
