SHAHWAN SHAHWAN, 81; WAS EMPLOYEE OF LEATHER FIRM
Funeral services for Shahwan Shahwan, 81, of 24 S. Gould St., who died Saturday at his home, will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Rev. George C. Eilers officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Shahwan was born Jan. 6, 1885, in Syria. He married Rose Mloff. She died in 1926. He had been employed at the Fred Rueping Leather Co., retiring a number of years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Grayson, Arlington, Va. The body is in state at the funeral home.
