Barbara A. Itri, 76 of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1940 in Stamford to the late Rose Marie (Cybosky) and Ubal Daniel Itri. She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford.
Barbara is survived by her sons Donald (Mary) Gerbasi and Darren Gerbasi; her sister Nancy Lee Gallagher; her niece and nephew Rosemarie and Nicholas D'Ostilio; her many cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Cathy McCulloch Itri.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 30th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (279 Atlantic St, Stamford, CT 06901). Burial will follow at St John's Catholic Cemetery (25 Camp Ave, Darien, CT 06820)
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bennett Cancer Center (1 Hospital Plaza, Stamford, CT 06904).
