Ernestine Sneed Walker, age 84, of Alcoa, passed away Monday, March 31, 2008, at Morning View Transitional Care. She was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlis Walker; sister, Mildred Sanders of Cleveland, TN.
Survivors include: son daughter-in-law, Fred Carolyn Walker of Maryville; daughters sons-in-law, Joy Steve Arehart of Oak Ridge, Annette James Breeden of Louisville; Amy Mark Beaty of Maryville, Sandra Robert Evilsizer of Tellico Village; grandchildren: Trey, Emily, and Abigail Walker all of Maryville, Suzanne Michael Arehart of Oak Ridge; Jimmy Breeden of Hawaii; Bonnie Bible of Maryville, Dr. Rebecca Breeden of Washington State; Noah Beaty of Maryville, Chuck Wright of SC; Karen Bass of GA; Beth Wright of the U.S. Virgin Islands; six great-grandchildren; brother, A.W. Sneed of Delano, TN; sister, Juanita Dotson of Athens, TN.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Dialysis Clinic, Inc. and Morning View Transitional Care for the loving and professional care given our mother during very difficult times. She was a very special mother and grandmother and will always be missed and remembered by her family.
Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Freeman Tomlin officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2008, at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
