Helen G. Welch, 80, formerly of 309 Delshire Ave., died Friday, March 12, 1999, at Morton Terrace in Morton.
Born Feb. 25, 1919, in Modesto to Henry Alvin and Maggie Jane Suter Buck, she married Scott Kiffin Welch on April 29, 1939, in Bowling Green, Mo.
He preceded her in death. Two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Gary of Pekin and Michael of Yorktown Heights, N.Y.; one daughter, Mrs. James (Dinah) Brantley of Washburn; and one sister, Naomi Stults of Palmyra.
She formerly worked as a credit investigator for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Peoria.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
