Mrs. Daves was a member of Temple Emanuel, Roanoke. She was proprietor for many years of the Weinberg Music Store, Lexington and was one of the founders of the League of Women Voters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph I. Daves.
Survivors include one son, Dr. Marvin L. Daves, Goodyear, Arizona; one daughter, Amelia D. Kopald, Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Daves was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 1997 in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, Lexington, with Rabbi Cathy Cohen officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lexington SPCA or Lexington Life Saving and First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends at the residence. Arrangements by Williams Funeral Service, Lexington.
