Brian R. Sandefur, Age 52, passed away January 29, 2007. Brian was born to John B Sandefur and Iris (Holcomb) Sandefur. Brian graduated from Wasson High School in 1973, and was inducted into the Colorado Springs Sports Hall of Fame in October 2006. Brian attended El Pasco community College from 1973 to 1975 graduating with Associates in Arts. Brian received his real Estate license in March 1977. Brian was employed with Case Realty from 1977 to 1979. Shortly after leaving Case Realty, Brian was employed by Burns Inc.. Security Service Inc as a security guard for Digital Equipment corporation. From 1980 to 1991 Brian was hired by Digital equipment for shipping and receiving, later moving to Research and Development for Digital as a Chemical Technician. In 1992 Brian was employed by Eagle Pitches as a chemical Technician and 1993 to 1995 he was employed by Finishes LTD as a Chemical Technician. From 1996 to 2000 Brian was employed by Pioneer Sand and Gravel. May of 2000 he became a co-owner of High Country Inspections, Inc out of Florence, Colorado. Brian was preceded in death by her Mother, iris F. Sandefur, Sister Elizabeth and brother John B. Sandefur Jr. He is survived by his wife Tammy A. Sandefur of Florence, Colorado, his daughter Sara M. Sandefur, father John B. Sandefur of Colorado Springs and Brother William L. Sandefur of Kearny, AZ; including several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Grace and St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 601 N. Tejon Colorado Springs, Co. Grave side service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Reception to follow at Valley Hi Gold Country Club at 610 S. Chelton Road, Colorado Springs, CO.
