SPOKANE - Mrs. Bernice Betty Whiteman, 25, died Aug. 4 at a local hospital. She was born May 15, 1932, in Washtucna where she spent her childhood. She attended the Washtucna schools and John Rogers high school here.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Whiteman, at the home, her mother, Mrs. Verda Bisson of Washtucna, her father, Martin Bisson of Spokane, two sisters, Mazie Havens of Massachusetts, Phillis Bisson of Spokane, five brothers, Pete and Jack Bisson of Reardan, Donald Bisson of Kalama, Mike Bisson of Camp Pendleton, Calif., Max Bisson of Santa Ana, Calif., and two older half sisters, Mrs. Mable Fritz of Venice, Calif., and Margie Ruth of St. Paul.
Services were held Aug. 9 with burial in the Greenwood cemetery. The Rev. James A. Moore officiated at the rites.
Bernice was married to Donald Whiteman June 1, 1952, and they made their home in Spokane.
