THOMAS CHARLES LIPPMAN, of Southampton, NY, one of the best known physicians in Suffolk County, died in Post Graduate Hospital, New York City. Dr. Lippman, who was operated on about a year ago, had been enjoying good health until about 3 weeks ago when he returned from Florida. Funeral services will be held in St John's Episcopal Church in Southampton with the Reverend Samuel Fish officiating. Burial will follow in the Southampton Cemetery where Masonic rites will be conducted. He is survived by his wife, Violet Sarah (Reitz) Lippman; daughter, Pamela Ann of Southampton; sons, Thomas Berkeley Garrett of Philadelphia, PA; Dr Robert Thompson Garrett of Hot Springs, VA and Neville Grey Lippman of Southampton. Thomas has been a physician for the past 33 years, practicing in Sag Harbor, NY and Southampton, NY since 1924. He is a graduate of the Cornell Medical School and the New York College of Pharmacy and was an attending physician and surgeon of the Southampton Hospital. Other organizations of which he was a member are: the American Medical Association, New York State Medical Association, Suffolk County Medical Society, Masons, Elks and Forresters.
