Monty Minor Former Resident, Dies in Arizona
Word has been received here of the death of Monty Minor, 62, a former resident of Mt. Vernon. Mr. Minor died July 1 in Tucson, Arizona.
He was the son of Dan and Damie (Hawkins) Minor.
Burial was in Rochelle, ILL.
Mr. Minor is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Griswalt of Rochelle; one granddaughter; a half-brother, Howard Minor of Mt. Vernon; two half-sisters, Mrs. Elba Estes of Mt. Vernon, Ind. and Mrs. Anna McDonald of this city; and two step-sisters, Mrs. Maude Connoway and Mrs. Bessie Minor of this city.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one daughter and three brothers.
