Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, March 23, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue at the funeral home the following day from 9:00 AM till time of service at 10:00 AM.
Mr. Ezell passed from this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Meadville Convelesant Home with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 24, 1928 in Franklin County, MS, to Edgar David Ezell and Ona Purser Ezell.
Mr. Ezell faithfully served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from International Paper Company after thirty-seven years of service. He loved woodworking and doing anything with his hands. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Edgar David Ezell and Ona Purser Ezell; brothers, Gene Ezell and Bill Ezell.
Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Ezell of Bude, MS; sons, David Ezell and wife Lynne of Summit, MS and Dennis Ezell and wife Betty of Vicksburg, MS; brother in law, Louie Vernon Jones of Farmersville, LA, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Pallbearers are, Lance Ezell, Todd Ezell, Gabe Ezell, Christian Ezell, Caleb Ezell, and Jeff Needham.
