Husband of ANNE (MOOREHEAD) NEWTON.

On Dec. 10,1797 in Greenbrier Co., Virginia now West Virginia, William married ANNE, daughter of JOHN & MARY ANN MOOREHEAD of West Virginia.

Together William and Anne had eight children:

Joseph K.,
Elizabeth (Wilson),
Helena E.(Blake),
Thomas W.,
Isabella (Hedrick),
Sarah (Hedrick)
and Ruth A.(Curry).
