Buckles was one of four kittens born to Punky, under my bed in Colfax, Indiana, on a nice spring afternoon of March 16, 1990.
Buckles was part siamese, so she was sometimes afraid of kids and other animals for the first several years. These past seven years, she has been very friendly, and has grown to love her half brothers and sister.
She is survived by Shark, Smokey and Midnight. This past week, Midnight has been by her side most of the time. He is a very lovable brother, and he loved taking his naps with her.
Buckles has lived a very long life of 17 years. She just grew old and fragile, and finally went to sleep at 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
