BUHL— Rubin Hayes, 82, of Buhl, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Fails.
He was born May 16, 1912, at Gainsville, Mo., to William and Julia Crumley Hayes. He married Thelma Pauline Brewer on Oct. 4. 1937, at Mountain Home. He stayed active in farming all his life and he also worked as a ditchrider for a time. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Buhl.
He is survived by a son, Warren and Olga Hayes of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jeffery Hayes of Laguna Neguel, Calif., and Susan Hayes of Bloomington, Ind.; a great-granddaughter, Pendah Jallow of Bloomington, Ind.; and a sister, Aileen Agee of Reno, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, in 1992; four brothers; and one sister.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994, at the Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. Burial will follow at the West End Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
