Bester C. May Sr., 90, of Quitman, MS passed away on March 18, 2017 at Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born on July 18, 1926 to Percy Lee and Euna (Boykin) May in Norfolk, VA.

B. C. was a veteran of World War II that served in the Navy in the Philippines. He retired from Burlington Industries and was a real estate and automobile salesman. He was a lay leader at Adams Chapel United Methodist Church.

Bester is survived by, 7 Sons, Neil (Lynn) May, Lannis May, Mark (Leanne) May, Brian (Danielle) May, Jerry (Judy) May, Richard May, and Roy (Natasha) May, 2 Daughters, Brenda May, and Cynthia Browning, Brother, William May, 2 Sisters, Goldie Campbell, and Gladys Elrod, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jeffery May, Daniel May, Patrick Neil May, Jeremy May, James Lee Browning, Dustin May, Ben May, Braxton May, Clark Kirby, and Patrick May.

He was preceded in death by Father, Percy Lee May, Mother, Euna Lee May, Wife of over 60 Years, Elsie May, Brother, Percy May, Grandson, Matthew David May.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 5:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lannis May officiating and Rev. Danielle May assisting.

Burial will take place in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery (Quitman, MS).
