James “Jim” E. Bailey, 62, of Earlysville, VA, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2013 at Martha Jefferson Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was born in Earlysville, VA, on March 2, 1951, to the late J. Edward Bailey and Dorothy Marshall Bailey. MSG Jim Bailey retired from the United States Army in June of 1994 after 23 years of service in the Signal Corps. Following his retirement he worked for Southern Air as an electrician.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brother; his two daughters; his son; three grandchildren; his niece; and his nephew .
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 550 Buck Mountain Road, Earlysville, VA with Reverend Lance King officiating. Interment will be private.
