James Pinkney "Pinky" Pittman married Nannie Elizabeth Vick on Oct 22, 1876 in Sulphur Springs, AL, St. Clair Co. They had 2 sons and 4 daughters. Apparently Nannie died as the result of child birth with their 6th child. Pinky later married Amanda Madora Simms Pittman, the 5th daughter and 8th child of William Edward Simms and Malinda Catherine Templin Simms, on Mar 31, 1895 in Bell Co. TX. There were no children to this union. Amanda finished raising the remaining 5 children born to Pinky and Nannie.
