Sherryl Ann Brooks

Age 67, of Indy, passed away peacefully at St. Vincents Hospice, Sunday March 5, 2017, surrounded by her family. Sherryl was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 20th, 1949 and graduated from Plum HS in 1967.

Professionally, Sherryl had a 40 year career as a legal assistant, 32 years working with Buffy Cohen. Sherryl was involved with her family in Pike Wrestling, Pike Soccer and the Indy Inferno Soccer Club. Her hobby was gardening and landscaping, resulting in the best looking property in Northern Estates. Sherryl was an avid Colts fan and a big supporter of fellow Plum HS Alumni Pat McAfee.

Sherryl is survived by her loving family, husband of 43 years, Brady Brooks, son Brady Brooks, Jr., son Brian Brooks, his wife Stefanie and soon-to-be born Granddaughter Ava.

She is preceded in death by her father Charles Dancu and is also survived by her mother Mae Dancu (Mabel Patricia Quimiro), twin sister Sharon (John) McCall, and her 3 brothers David(Ann), Chuck, Doug (Amie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Sherryl's name can be made to the American Cancer Society . Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North.

Visitation is Friday 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. and service on Saturday at Noon. 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46228.
