Billie Jean Brasher Reeves, age 86, of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Houston County Nursing Home. She was born March 9, 1932 in Lovelady, to parents, Robert and Maggie Ola Reynolds Arnold. Billie retired as a nurse, having attended nursing school while parenting five children, she was top of her class. She loved nursing and will be remembered for her kindness of always helping others. A collector of antiques, she loved finding them and showing off her treasurers.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Chestine Brasher and Bill Reeves; beloved son, Jerry Brasher; great-grandchild, Rhys Barnes; parents, Robert and Ola Arnold; brother, Horace Moses; sisters, Alma Little, Mary Lee Smith, Edna Smith, Frances Goynes and twin sister, Betty Driskell.

Billie is survived by her children, Larry Brasher and wife, Kim of Lovelady, Carol Warren and husband, Terry of Pollok, Ernestine DeWalt and husband, Clegg of Trinity, Charlene Williams and husband, Billy of Slocum; daughter-in-law, Jan Brasher of Conroe; grandchildren, Melissa Brasher, Craig Brasher, Kacey and Chris Wallace, Clint and Michele Warren, Wes and Taryn Warren, Clegg and Debbie DeWalt, Coyle DeWalt, Justin and Brittany Brasher, Jace Brasher, Ashley and Derek Holman, Craig and Kristy Trahan; great-grandchildren, James Michael Barrett, Hank Warren, Cutter Warren, Huck Barnes, Teagan Warren, Gavin Stanley, Ashton Sanford, Danielle Sanford, McKenzie Holman, Seth Trahan and Bentley Trahan; sister, Minnie Brasher and husband, Hobert of Seattle, WA.; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Graveside services for Billie Brasher Reeves will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery, Bro. Dennis Ivey, officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
