OBITUARY Iron River Reporter Dec 5 1979 “Obituaries: Marion Brady”
KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-Relatives have been advised of the death of Marion Brady, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Morningstar, Nov. 21 at Fort Sanders Hospital, Knoxville, Tenn. Her father was Asst. Post Master in Iron River for several years.
She was born Jan. 22, 1912 in Stambaugh and was a graduate of Iron River High School and of LaCrosse Teachers’ College. She taught in the public and parochial schools in Knoxville for over 20 years.
On Oct. 18, 1934 she married George F. Brady in LaCrosse, Wis., and they became Knoxville residents soon afterward.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Jean Jolly and Mary Sue Hosford, both of Knoxville, and Barbara Brady, Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren and several cousins.
Private services were at Berry Funeral Home, Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were made to the hospice program at Fort Sanders Presbyterian Hospital.
