Mrs. Johnson Dies While Visiting Son in Baytown
Mrs. Lovie Johnson, 83, of 603 Northwest 6th Street, died Wednesday at the home of her son whom she was visiting, L. R. Daniel in Baytown, Texas. She had been ill for some time. Services will be held at the North Oak Church of Christ Saturday at 10 a.m. with Rev. W. B. Clark officiating.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 12, 1883 in Arkansas. She was a member of the North Oak Church of Christ and was married to T. L. Johnson, April 18, 1958. He preceded her in death in September, 1962. Interment will be at the Sturdivant Cemetery under the direction of Carlock-Minnick Funeral Home.
She is survived by three sons; L. R. Daniel, of Baytown, Stuart Daniel of Houma, Louisiana, and Col. Charles Daniel with the U.S. Air Force in Saigon, Viet Nam; one daughter, Mrs. Norman Dean Stassaio, of Dallas; two brothers, Bill Garrett of Mineral Wells and Forest Garrett of Abernathy, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Cline, of Mineral Wells, and Mrs. Eva Williamson of Lubbock. - obituary
