Mrs. Edward Utne, 70, Chicago House Hotel, was dead on arrival at a Sioux City hospital early Thursday.
She was taken to the hospital by Sioux Ambulance.
Mrs. Utne, the former Bessie Hobbs, was born at Ottumwa, Iowa, Dec. 21, 1894. She was married to Edward Utne at Elk Point, Nov. 3, 1925.
Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Bert Snelling of Fairfield, Calif.; and a brother, Sam Hobbs of Los Angeles.
The body is at the Rutledge Funeral Home.

Hunt, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
