Died in Great Falls hospital after lengthy illness. Born in Havre and moved to Choteau in 1943. Married Shirley Acord on Dec. 1, 1943, in Great Falls. He was a contractor for 37 years. Served several years on the Teton County Volunteer Fire Department and was past chairman of the Teton County Hospital Board. Instrumental in formation of first model railroad club in Great Falls and enjoyed motorcycle climbing and racing. Active member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife of Choteau; son, Tom of Billings; and brother, Dick of Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by son, Ron.

Funeral was Sept. 26 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau. Burial was in the Choteau cemetery. Gorder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.--Information from obituary in The Choteau Acantha, Sept. 30, 1992, Pg. 8
