He was born August 4, 1934 in Connellsville, the son of the late Albert and Pauline (Clark) Black.
He was Protestant by Faith.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He worked for the Environmental Management System, Inc. as a refrigeration technician.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 301 and was a staff member with Unity a Journey of Hope, a mission he was very proud of.
Don loved going to the casino and watching T.V., especially N.C.I.S. and Law and Order. He loved his dogs rescuing many from puppy mills.
He is survived by his children, Bobbi Robinson and husband John, Donald “Buddy” Black, Korey Black, Ronald Black and wife Toni; grandchildren, Jason Snyder and wife Jane, Donnell Black, Donald Black, Donald Wayne Black, Jake Black, Josh Nicholson, Donna Black, Damien Black, Brianna Black, Jason Black, Kaylee Black and Michael Black; many great-grandchildren; a brother, David Black and wife Connie and sister, Arlene Kessler and many much loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Stewart, a son Jason E. Black; brothers, William, Albert Jr. and Harry.
