MaryAnn Lester Podunavac 89 of North Huntingdon, PA 15642 died Tuesday March 13, 2017 in the Baptist Home in Castle Shannon. She was born February 21, 1928 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Mary Lester. She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church of North Huntingdon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nick Podunavac, and brothers and sisters, Theresa Korey, Rita Knapp, Frank Lester, Robert Lester, and Dolores Shimkets.
Surviving are three children, Lynda McGuirk of Whitehall, Darryl Podunavac of Orlando FL, and Barry Podunavac of North Huntingdon. Two grandchildren Brianne and Brad McGuirk, and a sister Bernadette Rowleski of Pittsburgh, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Ave. Irwin on Friday from 5-8 PM. Parting prayers will take place on Saturday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. Agnes Church. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
