Columbus Dispatch, The (OH) - Tuesday, April 13, 2010:

Ruth E. Billman Davis Kelley, age 92, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Westerville, Ohio, passed away March 29, 2010.

She attended Otterbein College and retired from the Ohio Bell Telephone Company in 1979 after 33 years of employment. Ruth was a past President of Telhio Credit Union Board of Directors, of which she was an official for 17 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a Past Noble Grand of Liberty Rebekah Lodge, Powell, Ohio. For the past 9 years Ruth has lived at Aston Gardens where she enjoyed her friends, family, travels, bridge and partying. She enjoyed each day she was given with a positive attitude and she wanted everyone who knew her to celebrate her life! Ruth was a very family oriented person and often said "My family is my life".

She is survived by her loving relatives: nephews, Robert E. Billman, Dallas, Texas, Edwin Billman and wife, Barbara of Naples, Florida, Neal Billman and wife, Kay of Boca Grande, Florida, Kenneth Davis and wife, Barbara of Farmdale, Ohio; nieces, Alice Wright and husband, John of Sebring, Florida, Terry and husband, Glen Bare of Dublin, Ohio; and a multitude of great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Calton of Hebo, Oregon. Preceded in death by husbands Thomas E. Davis in 1977 and Raymond C. Kelley in 2001. Also preceded in death by her parents Ivy and Harley Billman, sisters Gertrude Waters and Lorene Wabeke and brother Lowell (Bill) Billman and nephew Dennis Waters.

Her memorial service will be held at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, Ohio on Wednesday, April 14 at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 13 from 2-4 p.m. Interment following the service at Otterbein Cemetery in Westerville, Ohio. Ruth wanted to express her appreciation to all of the staff at Windsor Place who provided such special personal care.
