Mr. Robert Allen "Bob" Elliott, 79, of Martinsburg, formerly Allensville, died Sunday at Clary Grove Nursing Center.
Mr. Elliott, born in Berkeley County, was the son of the late Fred S. and Julia Lockhart Elliott. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Franklin, Fred Jr. and Garland Elliott; and four sisters, Betty Barrett, Jeannette Wasson, Shirley McIntyre and Joan Peterson.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Sexton Can Company with 32 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Arlazee Fox Elliott; so, Robert Elliott, Jr and fiance' Sherry Murray; daughter, Robin Elliott; two grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Howard Elliott and one sister, Patricia Murphy.
The family received friends 6-8 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the funeral home.
The funeral services were held at 10 AM, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was made in Rosedale Cemetery.
