Kathryn "Tinky" Graffis, 82, of Ottawa, died Saturday, Dec. 11, at Pleasant View Luther Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Gerald Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4.
Mrs. Graffis was born Nov. 18, 1922, in Ottawa, to Henry and Darlene (Zenor) Bonges. She married Everett Graffis on June 30, 1943, at St. Patrick's Church. He died June 23, 1981.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America and Ottawa Elks Ladies Bridge.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Carol) of Ottawa and Randall (Nancy) of Carmel, Ind.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn O'Leary of La Salle and Bernice Pugh of Ottawa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Ann Graffis; three sisters, Rita Doherty, Lois Carretto and Jeanette Steinbach; and a brother, Henry Bonges II.
Memorials may be directed to St. Francis of Assisi Church or Mass cards.
