Cleveland Gribble
TEKONSHA--Cleveland Gribble, 83, of Route 1, died Monday afternoon in the American Legion Hospital, Battle Creek, where he had been a patient five days. He had been in ill health several years.
He was born Aug. 18, 1885 in Clarence Township, a son of John and Harriette (Butler) Gribble.
He was married June 7, 1920, in Marshall to Elizabeth Barton of Albion. The couple resided on farms near Duck Lake and Homer and had resided in Fredonia Township since 1938.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include two step-sons, George Fowler of Sheridan Township and Fred Fowler of Fredonia Township; a brother, Ray Gribble of Clarence Township; and a grandson.
