Robert Clark Watson

Robert Clark Watson, 80, of Plain City, UT, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on March 7, 2017.

He was born on June 19, 1936, to Marion and Elva Watson. He married VaLoy Wood on November 27, 1957, in the Salt Lake City Temple.

He enjoyed being with his family, helping others and being a temple worker. He and his wife fulfilled a Service Mission in Ogden. He retired from HAFB, and was one of the original founders of Total Quality Systems in Roy, UT.

He was preceded in death by his wife; both parents; and several in-laws.

He is survived by his children: Lloyd, Cheryl and Lanay, all of Plain City; Teresa (Mike) Buckley of Roy; Kara Smith of South Ogden; and Kristen (Stephen) Jones of Layton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one honorary daughter, Nobuko Asakawa of Japan.

Viewing services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Myers Mortuary, 845 S. Washington Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday, March 13, 2017, from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Plain City Stake Center, 4575 W. 2125 N., with funeral services at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the West Weber Cemetery.
