CAPPS, STANLEY, age 84 of Center Point, Alabama passed away August 13, 2006. He was retired from Alabama Gas Corp. after 43 years of service, he served in the US Army during World War II, and was of Methodist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Capps and son, Richard Capps. Survivors include daughter, Linda Capps Drummond; son, David (Teresa) Capps; sister, Gladys O'Quinn; daughter-in-law, Virginia Capps; grandsons, Steve Taylor, Jeremy Capps, Randy Capps, and Chris Capps; granddaughter, Shannon Berube; 2 great-granddaughters and special friend, Sue Gamble. A chapel service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 12:00 PM, burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
